The gospel in schools

CRU West loves to support teachers in their work in schools. We regularly support dozens of schools across Perth and Western Australia by visiting your school group, classes, chapel, assembly or just having a coffee to chat. An outside supportive voice, offering creative ideas, can be what sustains your group through the busyness of school life. Get in touch and see how we can help.

CRU West Teachers’ Conference 2025

Come and here from our fantastic lineup of speakers including keynote speaker Chris Morphew. Chris is an author, teacher and school chaplain living in Sydney. His latest book, Worth It: Following Jesus when Life Feels Complicated helps young people navigate problems, pressures and worries in a world that feels increasingly outraged and uncertain.

At the CRUWest Teachers’ Conference, Chris will be showing us practical strategies for developing and implementing quality Bible based Christian Education programs and lunchtime groups. There will also be opportunity to take part in a variety of seminars to equip you to serve God in your teaching or chaplaincy roles. Network with others and enjoy a great day of professional development.

New Teachers Night

Annually, we run a free event for new teachers to gather to connect with each other. We hear from leaders in the field of education about how to be a Christian teacher, how to grow in your career, and how to flourish in your faith while serving in schools. Stay tuned for information on the next New Teachers Night planned for late 2025.
