Each CRU Camp is run by a leadership team of committed Christians, eager to use their gifts to share both the gospel and their lives with the young people under their care.
Volunteering on a CRU Camp will help develop your gifts and ministry skills which will be valuable for the rest of your life. It’s also heaps of fun and gives you the opportunity to make long-lasting friendships.
We’re always looking for more volunteers in all sorts of roles in order to support and grow our camping ministry and help more kids explore Jesus and His claims!
All volunteers will:
Have a growing Christian faith
Be a current, active and regular member of a Bible-based Christian congregation, and have a reference from a church leader
Have a strong desire to see campers come to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord
Have a growing understanding of the Bible and a willingness to see it taught
Accept CRU’s Basis of Belief and all policies relating to camp leadership
Complete CRU’s Child Protection Training and be cleared under the government’s child protection legislation
Display leadership skills or have the potential to develop them
Be able to work in a team, with a sense of responsibility for property and equipment
Does this sound like you?
We’d love to meet you! Please let us know so we can let you know how you can volunteer on camps.
